IFL mapping team

The IFL Mapping team is an informal alliance of specialists from the research and non-governmental ecological organizations that are improving and updating the Intact Forest Landscapes dataset.

The year 2025 IFL update would be impossible without the IFL concept and data promotion by the WRI (Nancy Harris, Fred Stolle, Sarah Carter, and Michelle Sims) and Greenpeace International (Grant Rosoman). The IFL year 2020 and 2025 mapping was done by volunteers using the technical capacity of the UMD GLAD Lab and Greenpeace Global Mapping Hub. In our work, we employed freeware QGIS tools developed and supported by NextGIS, Ltd..
